About our Rentals

Spend the day on beautiful Lake Eufaula with kayak rentals available right inside Lakepoint State Park. Whether you want to paddle solo, ride with a partner, or cast a line from one of our fishing kayaks, we have an option ready for your lake day.

Please arrive 20 minutes early for your safety briefing, PFD fitting, and pre-rental instructions if you booked online.

Single Kayak Rental

$15 per hour

A comfortable option for guests who want their own kayak and a peaceful paddle around Lakepoint State Park and Lake Eufaula.

Tandem Kayak Rental

$20 per hour

Perfect for two guests who want to share the ride, enjoy the view together, and make the most of a relaxing day on the water.

Fishing Kayak Rental

$25 per hour

Drop in and fish from an Old Town fishing kayak, then return to the same spot when your rental time is complete.

Rental Details

Rentals are available daily during summer hours.
Rental start times begin at: 8:00 AM
Latest rental start time: 4:30 PM
All rental kayaks must be returned by: 6:30 PM
All rentals have a 2-hour minimum.
Guests may either drive their own vehicle to Lakepoint Marina or ride with our staff in the van.

Single & Tandem Rentals

Single and tandem kayaks are transported to Lakepoint Marina for launch. Guests may ride with our staff in the van or drive their own vehicle to the marina.

When your rental is complete, please return your paddle and life jacket to the Kayak Eufaula Outfitter. If you rode with us, call when you are finished and we will help with pickup and transportation back. If you drove yourself, you may remove the kayak from the water if you are able, or call us and we will assist with getting the kayak out of the water.

Fishing Kayak Rentals

Fishing kayaks are kept on the water in slips at the Lakepoint Marina dock. Our staff will unlock your kayak, help you get situated, and assist you with getting started on the water.

When your rental is complete, please return your paddle and life jacket to the Kayak Eufaula Outfitter. If you drove yourself, please relock the kayak if possible. At minimum, please make sure the kayak is securely tied back to the dock before leaving so it does not float away.

Need More Time or Help?

If you would like to stay out longer than your original rental time, please call us before your scheduled return time. Additional rental fees can be paid when you return.

If you need help getting back, getting out of the water, or returning your kayak, paddle, or life jacket, please call our staff and we will assist you.

What's Included

Kayak rentals include everything needed to enjoy a relaxing day on the water at Lakepoint State Park and Lake Eufaula. Choose between our fishing, single, or tandem kayak rentals and enjoy the water at your own pace.

Rental Options

·Choose between our Fishing Kayak Rentals, Single Kayak Rentals, or Tandem Kayak Rentals.

·All rental guests receive a life jacket, paddle, and a small safety briefing before heading onto the water.

·Fishing kayaks include pedal drive systems, though paddles are still provided if preferred.

Transportation

·Guests may ride with our staff in the shuttle van to the marina launch area or drive their own vehicle.

·For single and tandem rentals, our staff will transport the kayaks to the marina for launch.

·Fishing kayaks are already housed at the marina dock and will be unlocked for guests before launch.

Fishing Kayak Details

Fishing kayaks are launched directly from the marina dock area.

Our staff will unlock the kayak before your rental begins and help guests get situated if needed.

When finished, guests are asked to either lock the kayak back or at minimum tie it securely back to the dock before leaving the marina area.

On the Water

Rental guests are free to paddle, relax, fish, drift, and enjoy the scenery at their own pace.

Guests may contact our staff if additional assistance or pickup is needed during their rental period.

If guests would like to stay out longer than originally scheduled, additional time may be added depending on availability.

Before Launch

·Guests will check in at the Kayak Eufaula Outfitter before heading to the marina launch area.

·Our staff will provide a life jacket, paddle, and small safety briefing before your rental begins.

·Guests may either ride with our staff in the van or drive their own vehicle to Lakepoint Marina.

During Your Rental

·Rental guests are free to paddle, relax, fish, drift, take photos, and enjoy the scenery at their own pace.

·Single and tandem kayaks are transported to the marina for launch.

·Fishing kayaks are kept on the water at the marina dock and include pedals, though a paddle is also provided.

Returning Your Kayak

When your rental time is complete, please return your paddle and life jacket to the Kayak Eufaula Outfitter.

If you rode with our staff to the marina, call us when you are finished and we will help with pickup and transportation back.

If you drove yourself, please call us if you need assistance getting the kayak out of the water or returning your gear.

Need Help or More Time?

If you need help getting back, getting out of the water, or returning your kayak, paddle, or life jacket, please call our staff and we will assist you.

If you would like more time on the water, call us before your scheduled return time. Additional rental fees can be paid when you return.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change.
While we do not offer refunds, we’ll always do our best to work with you and find another option for your trip.

Trips may be moved to a different available date.
We can keep your trip on file for a future visit.
Reservations may be transferred to another guest.

If you are running late for an unguided trip, please call us as soon as possible. We should be able to accommodate you and still get you out on the water at a later time.
For guided trips, late arrivals will be handled at the discretion of the guide scheduled for that day.

Forgot Something?

If you forget something, stop by the Kayak Eufaula Outfitter before or after your rental. We may have drinks, snacks, sunscreen, and other helpful items available for purchase at the outfitter store.
