About this Tour

Bring your own kayak and let us handle the shuttle.

Start your adventure at Kayak Eufaula, located inside Lakepoint State Park.
From there, you’ll hop in our shuttle for a drop-off at beautiful Cowikee Creek,
where your paddle begins.

Choose a 3-mile or 6-mile route, available as either a guided or unguided trip.

Paddle through scenic waterways at your own pace, or join one of our experienced guides as they point out local wildlife and share interesting facts about the area’s history, ecology, and natural beauty.

Your trip ends right back where you started at the Kayak Eufaula Outfitters.

Please arrive 20 minutes early for your safety briefing, PFD fitting, and pre-trip instructions.

What's Included

Bring your own kayak and choose between a guided or solo trip through the waterways of Lake Eufaula
and Cowikee Creek. Our staff will help with transportation, launch preparation, and getting you ready before heading onto the water.

What to Expect

Bringing your own kayak lets you enjoy the Kayak Eufaula experience with equipment you already know and love. Guests may choose a guided or unguided trip and select either the 3-mile or 6-mile route, depending on the trip option booked.


Arrival & Loading

If you book ahead, please arrive at least 20 minutes early so our staff can help load your kayak onto our trailer before the trip.

If you need a life jacket, we can provide and fit one for you before launch.

If you need a paddle, we can also provide one for your trip.


Trip Options

Bring Your Own Kayak guests may book a guided trip or a solo/unguided trip.

Guests may choose from our 3-mile or 6-mile route options when available.

Please arrive at the same scheduled time as the regular tour or trip option you booked.





On the Water

Before heading out, guests will receive basic trip instructions and any needed safety information. Guided trips will follow the guide’s pace and route plan, while solo/unguided guests will paddle independently along the selected route.

Along the way, you may have the chance to explore quiet coves, spot local wildlife, take photos, drift with the current, and enjoy Lake Eufaula from a whole new point of view.





Good to Know

Please make sure your kayak is in good condition and ready for the water before arrival. Guests are responsible for their own personal kayak and any personal gear brought on the trip.

Weather, water conditions, and group timing may affect the overall pace of the trip. Our staff will help with loading and trip preparation so everyone can start safely and on time.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. While we do not offer refunds, we’ll always do our best to work with you and find another option for your trip.

  • Trips may be moved to a different available date.
  • We can keep your trip on file for a future visit.
  • Reservations may be transferred to another guest.
  • If you are running late for an unguided trip, please call us as soon as possible. We should be able to accommodate you and still get you out on the water at a later time.
  • For guided trips, late arrivals will be handled at the discretion of the guide scheduled for that day.

Please arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled tour time to allow for check-in, safety briefing and equipment setup.

Forgot Something?

If you forget something, stop by the Kayak Eufaula Outfitter before or after your trip. We may have drinks, snacks, sunscreen, and other helpful items available for purchase at the outfitter store.

Know Before You Go

Bring your own kayak and let us handle the shuttle. Trip times can vary depending on your route choice, paddling pace, weather conditions, and how long you choose to stop along the way. Please review the following information before your trip.


Safety Requirements

Participants must be at least 8 years old. Guests under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the required waiver.

Basic swimming ability is required for all kayak trips.

Please notify our staff of any medical conditions or concerns before your trip begins.


What to Bring

Arrive well-rested and hydrated.

Bring any necessary medications with you.

Wear comfortable clothing that can get wet.

Please wear sunscreen, even if you do not think you will need it. Sun exposure on the water can be stronger than expected.
